Out of the few you've got avaliable, the Micro Uzi and the Commando are probably your best bets - avoid the Prachette, AMCAR, and Valkyria if you can. You want big mags, high rate of fire, and good concelement, because they work pretty well on a LB/SB build, but not so much without them. Light SMGs/ARs are your 40-ish damage rifles and SMGs. Death Sentence/One Down is bullshit, and the only way to fight it is with more bullshit.įrankly, finding the best gun in the game is gonna be tricky, considering it's not so much 100+ guns as about 13 gun types, and even they're situationally useful. This build is one of the most brainless builds imaginable and you might even feel bad for using it. It's even perfectly viable on the highest difficulties. Don't worry about trigger discipline: both shotguns have incredible pickup rates, and if you somehow run out, just switch to your explosive secondary and clean out the room. This build basically trivializes Overkill difficulty and below due to its intense room-clearing power. The low accuracy combined with Payday's funky shotgun mechanics means that your autoshotgun will be doing full damage to just about everything in front of you. Using this build is easy: look at enemies and hold down left click until they stop moving. You need that damage boost to really become a monster. Do not get First Aid Kits, Hostage Taker or use the Stoic perk deck with this build, as they actively work against Berserker's effects. Anarchist is by far the most popular one used with this build, but I've seen variations with Rogue, Kingpin, even Sicario. Use any perk deck that works with a suit. These skills are the ones you need to maximize the functionality of the gun. Make sure to stay below 25 concealment or the build does not work properly.
Use a Judge modded with explosive rounds or the free grenade launcher as your secondary. Do not forget 000 Buckshot on the Grimms or they will do way less damage. Regardless of which one you use, mod it to make the accuracy as low as possible (yes, you read that right), and try to maximize stability. My personal preference is the Grimms, but the IZHMA is the more popular choice. It's an autoshotgun build that uses the IZHMA or Brothers Grimm.
